We have our interview on September 10 at 1:00 pm, and I am looking to purchase airline tickets to come back. Does anyone know when the visa can be picked up after approval? Is it the same day, or since our interview isn't until 1 pm, will it be the next day? Just curious to all of those who have gone through the Vancouver Consulate. Thanks!

hey there, you will be able to pick up your visa next day after 1:00pm, then can be on your way! I went through Vancouver back in January and it was as easy as pie, lol Good luck with your interview, oh and by the way don't worry the people at the consulate as very very nice, just relax and be yourself and smile!!

If you're really sure you have all your ducks in a row, then yes...you can pick it up the next day and fly out that same day if you wish. Lots of people though wait until they have it in their hot little hands, unless they're driving. The worse case scenerio is that you need to give them a piece of information and may have to pay to change the departure date on a ticket.

Best of luck on Sept. 10th! (F)
