Hi everyone!

So I just got the notice that the I129F petition has been approved and now it is being sent off to the NVC. I am a little confused about what happens next. Does the embassy contact me when my fiance's packet is available for pick up? Which forms need to be returned before they will schedule an interview? Do I have to schedule an appointment to drop off the forms, and how do I go about doing this?

I am so nervous because my baby is due Jan 5th and I don't want any snags and so I want to be prepared...I really need him to be here when I give birth!

Any info to fill in the gaps is appreciated!

Also, how much time should I allow between scheduling the medical and the interview date? Does the doctor send the results to the embassy, or do we carry it with us? Which of the forms do we not need to submit before the interview? Which do we just take with us? I am so overwhelmed!

Acrow; first of all WELCOME...can you put some info in your timeline? You have to wait for the file to reach NVC then they'll send it to the embassy in Kingston. Kingston will mail out packets 3 and 4...but you can start getting thing in order. You can't really do anything or get anything from the embassy at this stage. Congrats on the baby. Don't be overwhelmed...just take a deep breath. Relax for a while. I'll let you relax then we'll tell you what else you need to do.
