hi our vj family! me and my husband are undergoing this stressful aos process because of several complications. first, it all started from my biometrics appointment that arrived 2 months after my filing date and then, it only included my aos application. my ead application wasn't included there. so, we're still waiting for the biometrics appointment for my ead and by next week, we'll be hitting the 90th day since we filed. this is extremely depressing.

but here's a bigger problem. we received an rfe letter with regards to our aos application. the letter says that our joint-sponsor does not meet the 125% level of poverty guideline. they are asking for evidences of her current income such as letter from the employer and recent pay stubs. our joint-sponsor is a self-employed. how can we get all these documents if she's a self-employed?

now, we are just thinking if we get a new joint-sponsor. will this be possible? i need your replies asap coz we're so desperate to finish this aos process and start my 'real' life here in the US. i've been here for almost 6 months already and i want to start my life here with all these legalities.

thanks and God bless us all.

Did your first joint-sponsor not give you anything to send in? No income tax information or notorized banking information? I agree, they can't send in what they don't have such as employment letter. DO they make enough money?

If you have another joint sponsor available and they can quickly fill out the information for you, I'd send that back if you want. You could explain on a covering letter that you're including a new joint sponsor and the accompanying information. I don't know if that will speed your package up or not but you'd have the requirements in anyway.

Best of luck in hearing something soon!
