Our Baby Is Home!!!!!

Sorry we have been missing in action. We left for the Philippines on July 14th to go pick-up Mirasol's daughter, Krrystal, and bring her home to the states on her K2 (Follow to join) visa. We stayed for two weeks, visited the family, and then returned to the states on July 28th. Then July 29th we left for Disneyland for a week. We figured it would be a good welcome and a chance for Krrystal to meet my kids in a fun environment. We had a blast!

Krrystal started her first week in American schools this past Monday. It's been a little rough as she really doesn't understand as much English as the teacher expects for a 3rd grader, but she is adjusting. She has made a few friends in her class already and is getting over the initial shyness.

Mirasol is very happy to be reunited with Krrystal now as it was a long 13 months without her. Krrystal complains about the cold weather here (60-65F), but if we ask her if she wants to go back with her Lola in the PI, she quickly says, "No!" She really loves and missed her Mama.

Anyways....that's the update. Hope everyone here is doing well. We wish we could post more, but not much time these days. Until next time.....Ingats!

Scott, Mirasol, and Krrystal
