USCIS Changes Vaccination Requirements

after reaDIng all the posts im so confused now

As what I understand from the CIS website and heard from their Customer Service Rep which kid_brooklyn believed are morons (that's scary!), that those who had already taken their medical exam before June 1, 2008, they don't need to submit the revised I-693 form, take the new vaccination and the TB Test. Then those who had medical exam between June 1 to July 31, 2008, needs to submit the revised I-693 form but edition 4/2/08 and 6/5/08 are acceptable, needs to take the TB test, but doesn't need to get the new vaccination. Now to those who had medical exam on or after Aug 1, 2008 needs to submit the new form (previous editions won't be accepted), take the TB test and new vaccination requirement if age appropriate.

But if the info is in writing on the CIS website, I'd go with it, it's correct. At least you can print it out and have proof, but no way to prove what a cust service rep told you over the phone.

So, what do you suggest then?

We just want to make sure that once we process our AOS, we won't have RFE. Of course, I don't anyone wanys to receive RFE for any reason.

Hi again... you are fine. The info you wrote above is directly off their website. You did your exam before June 1st: you do not need to be in compliance with either the new TST or the new vaccines.
