I have another question. I called up USCIS and asked people, but they had no idea what they were talking about. I went to the USCIS civil surgeon and got TD instead of TDAP. My previous immigration doctor in Tokyo said I needed TDAP. But, this USCIS doctor in the US said I needed TD, so he gave me TD. I asked why I needed this instead of TDAP. He did not answer. He said he had no idea why my previous doctor checked TDAP.

Well, now only USCIS civil surgeon could decide which shot I needed. Did you experience the same thing? Of course he completed the form and said I finished all shots.

TdaP is Td plus Pertussis. I don't know what the exact requirements are for immigration, I have heard you have to have Tetanus (Td), and maybe that is why the UCSIS doc gave you Td. Most clinics in the States no longer routinely use Td, we to use TdaP for the added protection because we have been seeing outbreaks of Pertussis (whooping cough). So when someone here needs a tetanus shot because of an injury, they are probably going to get TdaP. Perhaps in Tokyo they routinely use TdaP too and that is why that doc said you need it.

Thank you for your comment.

I am now freaking out. The lady at the doctor's office marked on DT instead of TD. DT is for kids. I got TD shot, but she marked on DT. So retarded. And now I already sent everything to the USCIS. I am sure I will get RFE. Or does USCIS will contact my doctor directly?
