I never rode the school bus except a few times for field trips, I never rode on a greyhound, I only rode a city bus 5-10 times when living in England. I'm not a bus person.

You haven't really experienced America until you have rode on a Greyhound for at least 1000 miles. It should be a requirement for citizenship.

what if I drove a car across the country? I will never ride a greyhound.

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

Canada... need we say more?

Unless you want to look like an idiot, I think the answer to that question has to be yes, you need to say more than that.

I took a Greyhound once from Edmonton to Calgary. The worst part of that trip was Dancing With Wolves was the movie.

Long sigh for effect: Movie???? I've never ridden on a Greyhound that had a movie!? I would figure that Dances With Wolves would launch most Canadians into a state of extacy. Pro Native, critical of America, he!! it has it all!

At least I can quote. Who's the idiot?

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Who started throwing "idiot" around. Real sensible. Now go get #6 another beer before he gets angry.

Why this crime appears to have generated more response than the average stabbing is the beheading. That is completely grotesque, but the guy isn't any more dead than any other stabbing victim.

Yeah, people are killed everyday, some randomly. But to actually decapitate someone is a complete disrespect to the human body. The effort it must take to physically saw someone's head off requires a whole nother level of malice.

The fact that there's people out there that're capable of reaching that level with so little emotion, is what scares people.

Car?? There should be a lunacy commission appointed! 1000 miles can be done in around 15 hours in a car. On "The Silver Slug" it will take at least 24 hours. No, you need the thrill of traveling with 50 other riders (25 who have completely given up on personal hygiene). Now a new twist has been added. I shall call it the "Head Lopping Factor". Statistically you should be fine, but.....

People must be aware that those who suffer from severe mental disturbance, such that one would do something like this, are not going to behave in the way that a 'normal person' would behave and a lack display of the proper emotions is surely more evidence that this person was extremely psycotic. Not that any of this changes the fate of the victim, it doesn't but if people are scared that this is the start of an epidemic of such killings, I think that's an irrational fear.

As I thought, you have absolutely nothing meaningful to say.

I know I have nothing meaningful to say, but it appears this was intended for our good friend LuckyStrike?

Yes, my lack of the correct quoting skills was my downfall, yet again!

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.
