That's what you get for going to McDonalds ;)

Interesting from someone who apparently rides the bus.

With gas prices on the rise, that's where most of us will be heading.

May 7,2007-USCIS received I-129f
July 24,2007-NOA1 was received
April 21,2008-K-1 visa denied.
June 3,2008-waiver filed at US Consalate in Panama
The interview went well, they told him it will take another 6 months for them to adjudicate the waiver
March 3,2009-US Consulate claims they have no record of our December visit, nor Manuel's interview
March 27,2009-Manuel returned to the consulate for another interrogation(because they forgot about December's interview),and they were really rude !
April 3,2009-US Counsalate asks for more court documents that no longer exist !
June 1,2009-Manuel and I go back to the US consalate AGAIN to give them a letter from the court in Colon along with documents I already gave them last year.I was surprised to see they had two thick files for his case !

June 15,2010-They called Manuel in to take his fingerprints again, still no decision on his case!
June 22,2010-WAIVER APPROVED at 5:00pm
July 19,2010-VISA IN MANUELITO'S HAND at 3:15pm!
July 25,2010-Manuelito arrives at 9:35pm at Logan Intn'l Airport,Boston,MA
August 5,2010-FINALLY MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 23,2010-Filed for AOS at the International Institute of RI $1400!

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

You are one weird cookie.

But I guess I really could be lying about the bus - because after all its not like its a particularly common mode of transport in a major metropolitan area is it. I suppose that explains all the parachutes at 8:30am - perhaps that's why the subways are so empty.

Nah - probably not.

Walking and biking are also novel thoughts for some. Get a grip folks. Help maintain a healthier lifestyle.

Besides, if the issue is with McDonald's hiring illegal aliens, don't you think that corporate would have gotten flack for it a while ago from Uncle Sam?

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Yep. Being as anti-corporate against many top corporations, I'm looking for a good reason to have them cut under. I know, however, being under the microscope, McDonalds is likely playing it safe in these regards.

There is some irony here. That retarded fence used to block out illegal immigrants? The construction of it has been contracted, and subcontracted, out to guys who hire... illegal aliens. Nifty, huh? Illegal aliens are basically being paid (rather than Americans) to build a wall to block out other illegal aliens.

Not if they don't know they are illegal to begin with.I used to work at an employment agency,I know all the tricks.

Dang girl... then you should use them to get that $1000/week under the table job.

Then again, I do think that verification is what it is. I don't know what McDonald's does or doesn't do in its HR practices, independent of me avoiding buying anything from them, I am pretty sure that they have some sort of corporate practice of obeying the law as it goes for hiring and verification as the law is written. Which means that there probably aren't as many ilegales serving up fries en español de ilegales as some would have us believe.

No.I would never get hired,I'm much too outspoken.Another reason why the restaurants hire ilegales is because they "keep their mouths shut." (Thats what a a local restauranteur once told me).

Yeah you are right on that one. But then again that's not an issue with your status but rather your personality. Something you could modify with practice. ;)

Hook us up then. I'm willing to say I'm an illegal.

J/K

But cars? How are they managing to do that? Specially with the export controls currently in place...
