Hi Everyone,

This is my first post. WELCOME TO VJ!!

July 28,2008: US Embassy in Manila got our case.

How long would it take for them to give us our interview date? USEM usually say that we can get our interview schedule 2 weeks after they got our papers but i doubt caz 2 weeks seems pretty long. i was able to sched my interview 3 days after they got our papers.

Whom can I call to inquire about the interview date? You can call USEM (301-2000 loc 5184 or 5185) to inquire if you can schedule your interview. If they told you that you can schedule your interview already then call the Call Center (1-909-1017878) to schedule your interview.

NOTE:

* Be ready for your MNL Case number caz you won't be entertained in USEM or in the Call Center without it.

* You can only use PLDT line and SMART in calling this number 1-909-1017878.

* You can ONLY schedule your interview in the Call Center.

Do I need to send him ORIGINAL documents?

What do you mean by "him"? If you are asking if you need to send original documents to your beneficiary, well, it is always good to have original copy of all papers on the interview but photocopy of ITR and W2 will suffice. Affidavit of Support MUST be original and notarized.

Thank you. :innocent:

Good Luck :)

Thanks for the replies!!! :) I called the Visa Section of the US Embassy in Manila (301-2000 loc 5184 or 5185) and they told me that i should call back in 2 weeks. I paid the 18 dollar pin that I can use twice. So expensive. :S

Can I call 1-909-101-7878 myself? I am here in US. I am the petitioner and my boyfriend/fiance is in the Philippines.
