we're planning on submitting our applications for aos and ead tomorrow.

we checked again the uscis website on where to send the papers, but sad to say, we're both confused.

we initially thought that we should send alll the docs for aos and ead to just one location.

but, here's what we got as per i-485 and i-765 instructions:

since we're based in ca, for i-485 mail to:

USCIS

P.O. Box 805887

Chicago, IL 60680-4120

but for i-765. here's what the instruction says,

If your response to Question 16 is:

1. (a)(9), admitted as a K-3 spouse or K-4 dependant;....:

Mail your EAD application with the required fee to the

appropriate USCIS service center below:

if you live in Alaska, Arizona, California, the

Commonwealth of Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana,

Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri,

Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, Ohio,

South Dakota, Washington, or Wisconsin, mail your

application to:

USCIS

California Service Center

P.O. Box 10765

Laguna Niguel, CA 92607-1076

If you are filing Form I-765 concurrently with Form I-485,

mail to:

USCIS

Nebraska Service Center

P.O. Box 87485

Lincoln, NE 68501-7485

my question is, which is it?

should we file the docs together and send it to chicago or should we just send the i-485 to chicago and send the i-765 to nebraska?

please help!!!!

Everything goes in one envelope to the Chicago Lockbox, from there it will be sent to the local offices that are responsible for each application.

Good luck.
