I was a derivative of my mom's AOS. She got her greencard last year and applied for mine afterwards. I had my biometrics Sept 2007 but until now i never heard any update regarding my case. Currently, i'm in a community college and they accepted me as an in-state student. My two years of staying there is almost up as I'm finishing this semester. My family is moving to California by next year, and so, I have to apply to a four-year college there within this year. My problem is that one of the requirements need the copy of my greencard. And since I still have a pending AOS, i don't have it yet. I'm afraid that they won't be as lenient as my current community college. coz when i applied before, i just showed my immigration documents and also my mom's.

Has anyone have insights on what i should do? Should i call up an admission officer in the respective schools i'm going to apply to and ask for an advise?
