Hi there,

I am trying to fill up my NOA3 forms. After looking through it, i realize that they sent me this form called DS-1858 which is the sponsor's financial repsonsibililty under the social security act. Has anyone used this form?

It says that this document must be read and signed by person's intending to submit an affidavit of support on behalf of an alien applying for a visa. A signed copy of this document must be attacked to any Affidavit of support.....

My question is or rather statement, there is actually no line allocated for my fiance to sign the form. There is only a line for his name to be written. Which means, rather than going through the trouble of sending this darn form back to him and waiting to get all his documents, i can just fill this form up on his behalf no?

It's rather brainless for them to send this form and have me send it back to him over there and wait for him to send his whole documents back to me.

Does anyone know anything about this form? I found this form's availibity online but it looks kinda blur and it has like an extra logo on it.

Hope to hear from anyone soon!
