EAD - i765 - Processing Issues.

Hello All-

I am hoping that you guys/gals, can shed some light on this never ending EAD documentation issue that we have been having. i am not sure where to start so here we go.

I-130, (me to her), I-765, and I-485. we all filed and received on the 28th of Dec 07.

the biometrics came within 1 month, she went to her appointment and got that taken care of, no issues.

then the trouble began...

on 5/15/08 we went down to uscis, were told we didnt have all the paperwork, (with us at the windows), we actually did, but the dude was lazy and looked for the first thing he could find to go on break.

(we waited 6 weeks past the 90 day rule, that my congressmans office explained to me)

Then on 6/15 we came back, (or about this date) and were told that we had all the paperwork we needed, were told that the case was approved, and that it "wasnt sent out" this being the i-765.

(an additional month)

then we called on 07/02/2008 and were told then given a reference number, as to when the i765 should be delivered, we were told that it would be delivered on 7/19 +/- a few days -

then we received an email on 7/11/08 saying there were problems, bring all of our stuff to uscis, and "?????????"

so we set our appointment, and will see what is what. (our appointment is on 7/25/08)

This is now almost on the Eigth month of .... hmmm we dont know....

The case status has not changed on the uscis website, calling customer service is a waste of time, no one knows anything no matter who you call.

we called again and again and again, and keep getting the runaround, i called my congressman's office and am waiting for them to get back to me, its only been a few days...

What is the holdup here? where do i go from here? why cant i get a straight answer from USCIS?
