So my wife's her now through K1. We had our initial interview in November 2007 in NJ. Before that we moved to NY, so they decided to take our submitted documents (like proof of marriage, affidavit of support, etc.) but transfer our case to an NY office. Long story short, they sent us a letter now inviting us to come in August 2008 to the NY office. It's not an official NOA, it's just a regular sheet of paper with a form on it with an invitation. They've also attached another sheet titled ADJUSTMENT INTERVIEW DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS that's asking us to bring all the stuff.

I guess I have a couple of questions.

1) Is this an interview? Or do they just want us to come in, give them the stuff, leave, and then they'll take another year to look through our documents before they move their arses again?

2) We don't have everything. Like they're asking to bring my wife's medical exam form (i693) again. We gave that to them during the first interview... They also want us to bring proof of a previously approved i130, i140, or i360 visa petitions. I'm assuming 129F is the one for us in this case, they just don't have it on the list for some stupid reason. But what proof do we have of that? I mean.. she got the visa in her passport. They took her i94 at the last "interview".

Any help appreciated. Thanks!
