how recent does Bank statements have to be??.. i want to print statements and one dated for today, but should i wait until its a few weeks before the interview before sending all of my documents??? i will be setting an interview date this coming friday or Monday... i have a feeling that the interview won't be till late August early September...Thanks in advance for your help

If you are still planning to add savings then maybe better if you have it printed a few weeks to a month before her interview but actually bank statements will only be needed if your ITR won't be able to meet the poverty guidelines: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_1327.html

if you meet the income requirement then last years ITR will suffice.

My fiance's bank statement was dated May. He included the bank statement in the notarized form I 134. I 134 was notarized first week of June, my interview was July 1. Only I 134, from 1040 and W2 were asked from me.
