Oh and where do you find that manual on their website from just going through the home page. That information on what they accept and what they use would be great if we had that stickied somewhere, most of the questions on here wouldnt even need to be asked.
You are mistaken about many questions not being asked if info is posted, many, many, MANY times questions get asked even though the answers are in the FAQ, WIKI, and Guides.

USCIS has a search function, the answer is found by plugging in "I-864A" and do som digging, "Enforceable Affidavits of Support.[Revised as of 06/27/2006]" sort of jumps out at me.

Either way, its a shame that USCIS makes you double check to see if the information they are providing is correct or not. If we have to second guess everything that they say or post it really shows how behind they are on many things. With the filing instructions it should be clear and up to date. There really should be no need to dig for that information. If the instructions say that it needs to be notarized why would someone search any more about it when it very clearly notes that it does need to be notarized.

If you read the instructions included with the actual I-864A form, nowhere is Notary indicated in the form's direction, the inaccuracy is only on the web-page itself.
