Actually, I was giving props to the few midwestern states that aren't leeches. I figured it was only fair.

Actually, midwesterners who can do better move. Why do you think California and NYC are full of hard working and enterprising (not to mention smart) midwesterners?

Those who are content being mooches off the rest of us... stay. They are the real welfare queens. It's only through some ingenious political framing over the last few decades that they've been able to convince people that it's us, not they, who mooch.
