We made it!!

We’re both in the US now! I spent about 2 weeks in PH visiting my fiancée and her family and attending her interview at the USEM. My flight just squeezed into Manila a few hours ahead of typhoon Frank. Sitting in my hotel in Manila, I never heard such a howling from the wind. My fiancée was supposed to meet me in Manila for her interview Sunday morning from Cebu, but her flight was cancelled due to the typhoon. Thank God I was able to schedule her on another flight to Manila later that night so we still made it to our interview at USEM scheduled the next day!! Thankfully, her interview went well and we received the visa by Delbros about 5 days later.

We spent the rest of our time in Cebu with the family. We also spent a couple days in Bantayan Island on the northern tip of Cebu. It was so quiet and peaceful there compared to Cebu City.

We flew back to the US on EVA airlines. No problems at POE. We are now home together in Oregon. Anyone still trying to get through the visa process......Don’t give up and good luck!!!!!!!! :dance: :jest:
