I filed last week my new I-751 with divorce waiver. The check has been cashed already and I was able to see the new receipt number. Im waiting for the NOA1, hopefully will be here before my travel date.

I still have the I-551 stamp in my passport from my previous joint I-751.

I need to travel at the end of next week. Not a life-death situation.

Now, I know that another person, not sure if in this forum or another asked something similar if the stamp that was already given would be still valid? I have been thinking even if I should need a new stamp at all? since there is nothing that it says that my status is gone or change.

Im waiting for my NOA1 and would be the only thing that I will be using for traveling. I won't have the time to get a new stamp anyway because I used the receipt number and tried to do an INFOPASS and the nearest date is July 23rd which past my trip's date.

My concern about the stamp is that one of my previous entries I got an issue with one of the CBP people and they told me I should have the stamp.

My question is the previous stamp is still valid?

Kinda tricky, huh? I haven't seen a stamp - does it reference the case number? or does it just have your alien number and expiry date? if it's the latter, my guess is you're good to go.

Do you have to go through biometrics again? If so, aren't you worried they may schedule you while you're traveling? You may want to have somebody check your mails for the NOA2.

Good luck!
