When my wife and daughter adjusted status here they didn't have biometrics until AFTER the AOS interview. I've also helped a few people from here and that's the way the local USCIS Honolulu office does it. At least from our island. We had the AOS interview in Honolulu and walked down the street and wife and daughter had their biometrics.

Only problem was they mixed up my wife and daughters A#s and it took two additional plane trips [about $500 a trip with hotel, taxis etc.] to get things right.

I had friends of mine who applied [K1] for AOS and EAD call the local office { I have the number after they screwed ours up so bad} and they were informed they would do EVERYTHING in one day also.

The local office is trying to save people here the expense of multiple trips to Oahu.

We even had to take a ferry to another island [Maui] to see a civil surgeon as we don't have one on this rock.

Yeah you have to pay bigtime to live in "paradise"!! Wish we'd stuck with the CR-1/CR-2 and not done K3/K4!

I was afraid to add up our total expense adjusting status but I know it was over 2K!!

Removing condition coming up in a couple months!!

Wife only tho as I adopted my "daughter" and she's a US Citizen now.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship
