Is it for London? Five weeks ago is how far from the interview? Do you have one? It would be great if you made a timeline so we knew where you are in the process. You don't have to use real names. Ben & Jerry, Pooh and Piglet, etc. would work. No, to the notarized letter. And review the bottom part of the guide page that talks about after NOA2 http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;page=k1guide for some good information and suggestions.

We have our NOA2, he already had his medical and he sent in his checklist two weeks ago. We are applying for a K-1 visa and he is going to interview at the embassy in London :)

As for the interview I called DOS yesterday and they said they had scheduled an interview for July 23rd..(this was after they said that the checklist was missing a day earlier, but oh well..all is well that ends well I guess!) I think my letter of intent was dated for June 16th 2008 when I originally sent it.

I will start a timeline, definitely a newbie on the board though I have lurked for awhile ;)
