The only thing I have is USCIS Receipt Notice and Approval Notice. My wife took both letters and they said they need a letter with CASE #. My DS-3032 and AOS Bill was sent on 6/23/08 by NVC. You can print it out. Instead, there is an option to email to your beneficiary direct from that website. Use that feature, let her print out in India and produce to the agencies

I would like to cut-short the delay caused to you.

My wife went to the Passport Office with the I-130 Approval Notice and AOS Bill I had emailed her which had the Case Number on it from the website. Now the Passport Office is saying, she needs to show the Police Certificate letter/form which comes with DS-Packet. Which DS-Packet is this? DS-230? Will a letter/form come with this DS-230? Please Help. Thanks

On DS 230 packet you may find a list of requested documents and Police Certificate is one of them. Acctualy I never got this package, since I've used Jame's shortcut to create the barcode and send with supporting docs. My husband got this package and never mailed it to me, but I believe that the form listing these required documents also contains the case#, it might help at the passport office, but of course you would have to wait for this mail and that's such a waste of time, it's not fair that they don't just conceed a police certificate, it's such a normal request for a citizen, I mean we have the right to get one when need it.

Have you tried to do a research over your local consulate website and try to find a model of Police certificate request form, some consulates have this kind of forms. Mine in Rio has a form like that, I've even taken a copy when I went to request my PC, but I didn't have to use it. If you find it, print it out, add beneficiary's name and case# printing them over the same form on the appropriate space.

I'm sending you a model, so you know what I'm talking about. That's available on Rio's consulate website.
