Is there any way I can take a job abroad (Canada) whilst we're going thru AOS? We are scheduled to file her AOS paperwork in Aug, I recently got laid off and been looking everywhere for a job opportunity and there might be a few in Vancouver BC but I wasn't sure I could pursue these whilst she is a greencard/AOS so she probably wouldn't be able to travel/live in another country whilst?

Many variables... however, if she departs for any reason, she will be precluded from returning to the USA until such time that she has received advance parole or her greencard

Living together is only one way to show comingling of your lives...

No of COURSE we'd be together Im not wanting to move away to work without her.

I was talking about her coming with me. Would that invalidate her AOS process or is she not even allowed to leave the U.s. for any length of time

Yes, if she leaves prior to receiveing advance parole then the AOS application will be deemed abandoned...

YMMV
