hi guys, a friend of mine who have filed the i-130 have asked me today a question and i did not know the answer to it so i thought maybe you guys can help me on that and her is the setuation

she filed an i-130 for her mom and dad and it got approved and then she sent all the documents to the nvc and all the affidavit of support and the tax return etc.... she recieved a letter today from the nvc state that everything is ok but they need some documents from her parents like police clearence from syria and etc... and also pictures but here is the question, her mother is muslim and she waer the islamic head cover so is it required that she must take a pic showing her right ear without the head cover or is it ok to take it with the cover or what exactly? can somebody answer my question please? thank you guys

I remember reading somewhere on the uscis website that pictures with the hair covered is okay to submit if it's required by one's cultural practice. I'd recommend you do a search on their site for the picture guidelines just to double check, though.
