Hi our VJ family. I know this is somewhat funny for some people but I'm really having a depression coz it's been 4 weeks already and almost 30 days since we submitted our AOS package and yet we haven't received any biometrics appointment. This is so strange for me coz I've been seeing most of the applicants here who have had their biometrics taken 3-4 weeks after their NOA dates and almost 4 weeks after they filed. I call the uscis almost everyday and they tell me the same answer to wait for exactly 30 days after our NOA dates which was May 24.

i'm so afraid that our case might be one of those chosen unlucky few who would experience delays for no reason at all. So, anybody who experienced such delays on bin appointments? What happened? Especially those living here in LA county?

hoping for your replies soon. Thanks a lot.

Hmm, have you tried contacting your nearest ASC office to see if they have any idea what to do in this situation? I'm almost certain once you get the NOAs you're supposed to get the Biometrics Letter right after. Most likely it got lost in the mail is my guess. Try contacting the USCIS phone line. Perhaps you already have an appointment and just don't have the letter.

Hi guys...keep believing, thats all we are doing here. Look at the wait time already..that was the most difficult, I think just being away from eachother, thousands of miles away, for us was the most difficult, but we are together now :star:

Another option might be trying to do a walk in for your biometrics, if i remember correctly someone did that recently. Find out to see if there is a walk in biometrics in your local office. If you have your NOA for the AOS and EAD, take the documents detailed on there as identification.

She still needs the letter to be stamped though and for them to link the numbers to her I-485 etc. But I agree, try an early walk in with your other NOAs.

Never heard of that being done without a biometrics letter. I did ask about my son doing his when I did mine and they said not without an appointment letter.
