confused about Affidavit of Support

When I was reviewing the I-864 for AOS, it appears there is NOT as much needed to be included for the processing. I remember for the K1 I had to provide a letter from my employer and letter from my bank, etc.

Am I correct that I DO NOT need to include that stuff for this AOS I-864?

Are tax returns for the previous year the only thing required?

I-864EZ stipulate only past year's return as a requirement, (Employer letter, Stubs, and 2nd and 3rd year as optional)

I used I-864EZ, and just recycled what I used for I-134, and added recent return, and a few recent paystubs, and re-used my employer letter.

I-864EZ is for situations like: (NO Joint sponsor, NO assets, and One immigrant)

We actually included everything that was included in I-134. Just added the past 6 months pay stubs and W2s for the past 3 years. Better to send a few extra bits than to get an RFE, IMO
