hello guys ..... need some advise.... i filed my i 130 last march 2008 and i haven't got my notice of action i 797c or receipt letter until now, when i called the customer service i found out that they sent it already since march and they gave me the case status number..... i know that i can file my i 129f already but my problem is i dont have my i 797c or notice of action, that's one requirement the immigration's looking for if you file for i 129f... what should i do???? need help.....

one more thing which one is faster to petition my wife.... using i 129f or non immigrant visa/ k3 visa or the immigrant visa?? thanks for any help guys....

Hi, i believe that K3 procedure is faster than cr1, but i suggest that you filed your wife as immigrant visa, though leadtime may take you 6-12 months, advantages for cr1 are less paper docs, and once shel be in the US shel be considered as immigrant right away, compared to K3 which your status is conditional for two years even if you can still renew you visa. Your decision is up to you.
