Forwarded to a different service center??

We mailed our packet of information to the nebraska service center since we live in Wisconsin. I know I put the correct address on the package and I even included "I-751 for removing conditions on permanent resident status" (or something to that effect). I paid extra for delivery confirmation.

Now, looking at the delivery confirmation, it arrived in Nebraska and then it was forwarded to Laguna Niguel, CALIFORNIA.

So now I'm freaking out that it may have been delivered to the wrong place and that our processing is going to be all messed up.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is this what is supposed to happen?

Thanks,

Stephanie

Nebraska no longer processes I-751s. They are automatically transferred to California. This is normal. :)

Here's the official announcement

This has been going on for months, but USCIS only made it official last month.
