CFO SEMINAR IN CEBU.

HI FELLOW VJ'S, ME AND MY FIANCEE ARE STILL WAITING FOR OUR NOA2, WE FILED OUR I-129F ON MARCH 18, 2008. I WILL BE TRAVELING BACK TO CEBU,PHILIPPINES THIS JULY. I HOPE THAT BY THEN WE WILL HAVE OUR CASE APPOVED AND WE CAN GO THE MEDICAL EXAM AND EMBASSY INTERVIEW. MY FIANCEE WANT US TO GO TO THE CFO SEMINAR IN CEBU DURING MY VACATION IN JULY TO GET THE CFO STAMP SO THAT BY THE TIME SHE GETS HER VISA SHE WILL HAVE THIS DONE ALREADY. MY QUESTIONS IS WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED TO BRING TO ATTEND THE CFO SEMINAR WITH MY FIANCEE THIS JULY AND ALSO IS THIS A GOOD IDEA? I HEARD THAT THE CFO WILL NOT STAMP THE PASSPORT UNTIL YOU HAVE YOUR VISA. ANY IMFORMATION WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANK YOU AND GODBLESS YOU ALL.

Hi,

I just want you to know that you will NOT be given the CFO sticker if you do not have the visa yet. That is my experience. Coz I attended the CFO seminar before my interview date and before my visa arrived, and I was only given the CFO certificate but no sticker just yet. They will tell you to go back to the CFO office in Cebu or Manila to have that sticker once you have your visa. So I suggest you wait till you have your visa to attend the CFO seminar and their sticker so you dont have to go back and forth.

you can NOT have the sticker without the visa. you can have your seminar prior to your interview and go back there again for the sticker once you have your visa on hand OR you can attend the seminar and have the sticker at the same time if you have visa on hand
