Hi to all. I am new to this site. We have just been to an adjustment of status interview. Everything was in order.....that is all but one thing. My husband is an Egyptian and was living in the UAE. He had been married a first time there but was divorced through the court system. The divorce was termed 2nd count, revocable. I never thought anything about it. He has been divorced for over 10 years from her, and we have been married almost 4. We got married in the UAE through the Egyptian embassy but got it stamped through the US embassy. When we went to the interview for the AOS, the interviewer questioned us about the revocable divorce, which I thought was basically the same as here....are not our divorces revocable, in that if we so choose, we could remarry the person we divorced. Anyway, we are awaiting something from her as she was to check this our for us. Does anyone have any help on this?
