The divorce rate is only 12% (referring to a K-3 Visa) while it's 32% on a K-1 Fiance visa.

Fuzzy math alert! They aren't citing a source:

Here's another recent thread discussing foreign marriages with more fuzzy math. Get out the flamethrowers, I'm going in!

This is really good stuff! The OP on the other site is trying to go after some of them for Cyber Stalking!

I remember looking for the same data and all I got some numbers close to 80% success rate, but nothing so much offical that would make me trust the source.

I googled "foreign + rate + divorce.

My question is what is the rate of divorce from people who marry people from other countries versus the rate of people who marry people from their own countries? Is it higher or lower?

32.58%

Where did you get this number from, wacken?

Saludos,

Caro

There is no way to accurately estimate the rate of failure. However, anecdotal evidence from VJ would be a good start.

mmm...I'm hesitant on that too. Too many trolls...

Caro

Out of my #######.

The numbers wouldn´t mean anything to me anyway in a general sense. For example, just for curiosity's sake, I would want to know what percentage of marriages of USC women to German men of similar religious background fail over a span of 10 years. All other data wouldn't be particularly relevant.
