Hi, 2 questions!!

1) What exactly do i need to apply for a SSN? I entered on a K1, got married and now have my employment card in hand. I don't however have my I-94 as it was sent off for my AOS so what do i need to prove my immigration status?

2) How do i use my advance parole document? All i got in the packet was 2 peices of paper exactly the same saying that i had permission to re-enter the US with my picture and details on it. Do i need to show it on the way out as well as the way back in, and do i need to take both copies?

Thanks to you all!

You can go with your EAD card to the SSN office (along with your passport and copy of marriage certificate) - (Why did you send the I-94 with AOS - only a copy is needed not the original!) If you have any correspondence from USCIS regarding your AOS (e.g. NOA) take it with you.

Yes you carry both copies of AP with you - present it when entering USA (don't need to show these when leaving) - they may (or may not) keep a copy and give you one back (you can ask for both copies back). Good Luck
