Necesito abogado? Do I need a lawyer?

Hola a todos, soy nueva aqui. Tengo unas cuantas preguntas que hacer referente a mi caso.

Es necesario contratar aun abogado para que me ayude con el papeleo del proceso de la visa k1? he visto casos donde la gente han sido aprobados satisfactoriamente y quisiera saber si usaron o no abogados. Si fuese si, me gustaria saber cual es el rango de precio por uno.

Yo llevo con mi novio digamos mas de 3 años ya que que por motivos de distancia nos separamos. En total nos conocemos 8 años. Juntos como 3 y separados como 5. Decidimos volver y quisiera saber si esto afectaria en algo mi peticion.

Most people on this board have done it without a lawyer. And if you do a search for lawyer, you fill posts from many people where their lawyer screwed up the paperwork, forgot to get a signature, etc.

I would suggest that if you are going to have a lawyer do it, find one that specializes in fiance's from your country, and find them via referrals.

Another way to find one might be to use http://handleonthelaw.com/ . Its run by a local lawyer talk show host, and I've heard good things about their screening process for their directory. Enough business gets referred from the site that lawyers on there don't want to get delisted so they tend to be extra attentive. Never used it myself.

I recommend searching for "lawyer" in the search bar, as there are 10 billion posts about lawyers, and a lot of them have been posted in the last three days.

You do not need a Lawyer for this. There is nothing difficult about it. Save the money for Gas!
