Packet 3 & 4...???

Timeline

Hi everyone,me and my fiancee were just curious....what's Packet 3 and 4?? :unsure: Coz we kept on seeing them on VJer's timelines and wondered what are in those packets.... just hoping to have some useful info.. Thanks again and more power to all.. :thumbs:

08/07/14 - sent I-130 to Chicago Lockbox
08/11/14 - delivered
08/11/14 - Priority Date
08/12/14 - NOA1
08/14/14 - check cashed!
09/18/14 - NOA2 (approved!)
--NVC--
10/09/14 - NVC Welcome Letter via email (case # MNL2014xxxxxx)
10/10/14 - completed DS-261 (choice of agent)

10/15/14 - AOS fee paid
10/23/14 - NVC received DS-261 (per phone call to NVC)
10/28/14 - IV fee paid
11/05/14 - AOS & IV package sent
11/10/14 - NVC received package
01/05/15 - Case complete! (per phone call to NVC)
01/14/15 - received P4 (Interview) Letter via email

--MANILA---

01/26/15 - Medical at St. Lukes

02/10/15 - Interview (canceled)

02/09,10,11/15 - 3 Day Sputum Test

04/14/15 - Culture Test (passed!)

04/20/15 - Immunization

04/23/15 - Interview (PASSED!! Thank you God!!)

05/17/15 - US arrival! (POE: JFK)

Hi Guys

Once you get your NOA2 your application will be sent to the relevant embassy - when they get it they will send you a package with instructions on what you need to do next (this is known on here as Packet 3.) If they ask you to send some documents back to them once they receive and process what you return you will get another letter from them with an interview date (Packet 4.) Not all of the embassy’s have P4 as some give you an interview date in P3 and require you to take all the forms with you to the interview. If you go to your embassy's info tab at the top it will tell you everything included in your P3 so you can start getting your head around it.

packets are the list of required documents, instructions during medical, and where to pay (bank list) all the required payments. if u already have ur interview date im sure they will give u the info where to download the packets.

02-07-2012 --- Biometrics

02-14-2012 --- Yellow Letter (it says "bring any state issued ID" for interview)

02-24-2012 --- Placed in line for Interview Scheduling

02-27-2012 --- Interview Letter sent out

03-02-2012 --- Interview Letter received

04-02-2012 --- INTERVIEW- passed!

05-01-2012 --- Oath scheduled/ Oath Letter Sent

05-16-2012 --- Oath Taking! I am now a USC!!!

Is there anyway of knowing which consolates send the interview date with the P3 and who dont?

Thanks for the reply guys.. :) I just checked Embassy Info like what Bex told me and got all the info i needed.. Well,we just wanna make sure we're all geared up and ready for the next step... This whole waiting process gets us more nervous and anxious at the same time so we want to know if we're on the right track.. Anyway,will post again for future q's..... hi there! here in the Philippines we don't receive packet 4...it's downloadable. when you get your NVC case number.. you may call 1-909-101-7878 to schedule you interview..then they will instruct to to download the form which are supposed to be included in the packet. and you will receive a confirmation letter via email. goodluck on your journey!
