I've read over most of the spelling error threads and haven't found one that similar to mine. I have a little more than a week for my interview date, and I was checking over forms I have submitted so far and found that I misspelled my mom's firstname by one letter (2nd last letter) on both the G235-A and DS-230I. I can't believe it, i must have checked these forms 5-6 times and missed the error since it still makes her name still sound the same when you pronounce it with the error. arrgh... Anyone have any advice on what to do?

Should I just explain it at the interview or try to call them. The problem with calling them was that in the last letter I received with the checklist, they specifically stated that I couldn't call due to short staffing and to use their email instead.. but, I tried emailing them about something else once and never got a response :(

EDIT: I checked her birth certificate and found out that I did spell her name right, it is just spelt wrong on my birth certificate (I knew i wasn't a bad son). Should I just take her original birth certificate and explain the error on mine at the interview or something?
