Hi,

I had a few questions, so I called VFS and they asked me to email mumbai consulate at mumbaiiv@state.gov, every time I send an email I get this message. Basically this email is a filter and at the end I say to sent the email again as per instructions "If you are unable to find the information you need on our website, please resubmit your request using the phrase "Request for Specific Information" in the subject line of your e-mail. We will respond to your

inquiry as quickly as possible."

However, when i sent it with subject line "Request for Specific Information" and Request for Specific Information with out quotes, i still get this same silly auto reply, so i do not know if they received. This is second time in a few weeks where I have emailed and no reply so I am wondering if its me or its a bug.

Yes, thats he standard auto reply. They will write back to you in a few days. This reply only means that they have received your e-mail.

Did you put the subject of your e-mail as 'Request for Specific Information'

If you put any other subject then I would suggest that you resend the e-mail with the above mentioned subject (those are the ones they reply to..
