Recommended Posts

- Cover letter (lists of what's inside the packet)

- Form I-485 (AOS)

- Payment $1010 (check) (Biometrics fee included)

- Copy of Form I-797C Notice of Action (Approval Notice)

- Copy of my birth certificate

- Copy of Passport (Biographical Page) with K1 Visa with entry stamp

- Copy of Form I-94 (front and back)

- Original Copy of Marriage Certificate

- Medical Form I-693A -sealed envelope by the civil surgeon-

- Form G-325A, Biographic Information Sheet (4 pages)

- 2 passport sized photos

I-864 Affidavit of Support (Petitioner) (notarized)

- Federal income tax return ) 2007, W-2 2007 (for his job last 2007)

- Proof of source of income

- Letter from Veterans proving income is non taxable

- Copy of bank statement proving the VA deposited every month, (notarized)

- Copy of Passport with Biographical Page

I-864 Affidavit of Support (Joint Sponsor) --just in case we need co-sponsor... coz he's not working now..

- Federal income tax return 2007, W-2 for 2007

- Proof of Assets/Properties

-Pay stubs

-Employment Letter

-Copy of passport

I-765 Application for Employment Document

- Copy of Passport (Biographical Page), with K1 visa

- Copy of Form I-94 (front and back)

- Copy of Marriage Certificate

- 2 passport size photos

I-131 APPLICATION FOR TRAVEL DOCUMENT

Copy of passport’s biographical page

Copy of passport page with non-immigrant K1 visa

I think you have a complete checklist :). We almost have the same checklist except for the co-sponsor and AP. Good luck in your AOS and we may be RFE free.

Isn't the copy of Form I-797C Notice of Action (Approval Notice) is also the NOA 2 from the I-129f?

I think it was a good thing for me choosing the IR-1 route..

Case Left NVC Forwarded to USEM Manila = January 23, 2008

SLEC Medical = Jan 31 and Feb 1, 2008 (2 days)

USEM Manila Interview = February 20, 2008 @ 8:30am = DONE! (Status: 2 Months wait is over APPROVED)

CFO Guidance & Counseling = April 17, 2008

Visa in Hand = April 18, 2008 (Our Wedding Anniversary)

Arrival in the US and POE = April 23, 2008 JFK Intl. Airport New York City

Social Security Card = May 2, 2008

Green Card in Hand = August 18,2008

WoW.. $1010... That's alot of money..

I think it was a good thing for me choosing the IR-1 route..

Even if we will live in Phil it's ok with me but he can't survive living in Manila :):devil: but he sucked it up lived in there from Jan 2-May 9 :star: coz of that happiness (love) eheheh

Let me tell you.. My wife wants to go back to Philippines, she's homesick and missed her family so much..

She tells me, she's just here because of me and wants our family to be complete..
