It took 13 days for Thi to get her Packet 3....... She lives in HCMC about 4 miles from the Consulate......... If she can afford the time and cost of hand delivering her Packet 3 to HCMC Consulate, I would do it.......Since Thi lived in HCMC it wasn't a problem for her to but even if she didn't, she would have. To us it was that important because it would delay the process to mail it. The Consulate doesn't do anything until they get the Packet 3 in their hands.

My wife and I used to joke about the VN postal system like this to comfort each other about the "waiting time" for the mails to reach her............"Honey, I think the turtle that carries our mail(s) forgot to wear his bike helmet and as result being stopped by "cong an" (cops). You think we should pay the traffic ticket or worse, bail the turtle outta jail so we can receive our mail(s)?"

Even though our case is already completed at NVC, my wife still hasn't received the Choice of Agent packet that they're supposed to send to her in VN. If we wait for the correspondences to arrive at my wife's address instead of emailing NVC directly, our case would go nowhere.

In any case, I'm hoping the interviewing letter will get to her this time around.
