Anyone have success with tax extension for I-134?

Sorry if this has been addressed previously but I have searched and searched to no avail.

Has anyone had success in getting their K1 visa without having the most recent year's tax return but instead offering a copy of their tax extension?

I sent 4 years of tax returns 2003-2006 and sent a copy of my 2007 extension. I have no W-2 for 2007 because I have been making money from investments.

When Rin received her visa last April, I had not filed my 2006 taxes yet. I had transcripts from 2003-2005, plus a roughed in copy for 2006 printed out of Turbotax.

Thanks John.... Sai has her interview in 28 hours at the Bangkok embassy so I will post then whether this is an issue or not. This whole process has been rather exciting.....in a bad way

Well I was worried sick about not having my 07 returns for my fiancee's interview today but having the previous 4 years tax returns (I know it was overkill) and a copy of my 07 tax extension worked just fine!!! She got her visa!

CONGRATS!!!!!! Awesome news....now if only my girl could get her Interview Date.
