Good to hear from you Loz! I miss my husband lots too :( But he did me very proud today and did a big shop at Costco

He is now somewhere between Target, Bed bath and beyond and Ikea

I hope you hear some good news from the Consulate soon! I didn't receive a confirmation that they received my Packet 3 until I sent them an email to ask. They said it may take up to 14 working days to process but I ended up getting my Packet 4/Interview date after just the 8th working day. Hang in there!

Nice to hear you're doing well, Loz. No, I haven't heard anything from the consulate yet. It would be nice to hear confirmation that they received the packet 3. Just hang in there. Hopefully you'll hear from the Consulate soon.

I'm thankful we're not in a rush to get my visa now.

Thanks for the greetings!

My Packet 4 was sent via email. Hope yours will be emailed soon. When was the last time you emailed them? Perhaps another email won't hurt?

Congrats on the car, Loz! Good luck on the move to Alabama..

still no sign of my passport :(

It *should* have been sent out last Friday at the latest (my interview was on Tuesday) but I rang Australia Post this morning with the tracking number and they said they have no record of it (meaning it hasnt been posted). I am waiting to hear back from the Consulate (only contactable via email.. grr) but I secretly hope Australia Post is wrong about the tracking and that it has gone out for delivery today :(

Finally they replied my email! Said it was issued yesterday (Tues) and Australia Post said it's out for delivery today so I'm just waiting for the postie to come!

Speaking of big purchases, here's another one of ours-

Husband is moving into our apartment tomorrow and he's all set with everything we need - except a bed and furniture which he should pick up along the way tomorrow. How's your move going Loz? Any news from the Consulate?

Well my wife has a interview here in Sydney tomorrow to file the I-130 so fingers crossed is will go as well as every one else's.

I have been busy printing every thing off that I can for the last few weeks but hope we are ready.

So looking at the check list this is what it lists

Documents to be presented for U.S. citizen petitioner:

1. Fee of US$355.00 or AUD$408.25

2. Fully completed and signed I-130, Petition for Alien Relative.

3. Valid U.S. passport and one photocopy of the passport’s biographic and photo page.

4. One photocopy of the passport page showing your valid Australian visa.

5. One photocopy of the passport page showing your arrival stamp into Australia.

6. Valid Australian passport and one photocopy of the passport’s biographic and photo page

7. Original evidence of name change (if applicable) and one photocopy.

8. Original evidence of termination of any prior marriages and one photocopy.

9. Original current marriage certificate and one photocopy.

10. One photograph, in the format specified at the end of this information sheet.

11. One fully completed biographic data, form G-325A.

12. Evidence of a valid relationship

Documents to be presented for foreign spouse:

1. Original evidence of name change (if applicable) and one photocopy.

2. Original evidence of termination of any prior marriages and one photocopy.

3. One photograph, in the format specified at the end of this information sheet.

4. One fully completed biographic data form G-325A.

Now does it matter if my G-325A are duplex printed eg printed on both sides or should it be only printed on one side of the page ? Also are you allowed to staple the paper I am sure I read some where that you are not meant to do that.

love my poe

love my bo! TG4V

Print your G-325 on only one side of the page. I stapled my forms together and it wasn't a problem

Good luck!
