Hi,

I'm hoping for some help regarding my I-485 form. I am currently in the US on a K1 visa and my fiance and I are preparing to adjust my status following our wedding later this month.

Under 'Current USCIS Status' am I right in thinking I put 'K1 visa holder'?

Also when it asks for the expiration date does it want the expiration date of the K1 visa, in other words 6 months after the visa was issued, or does it mean when my K1 status in the US expires, which is 90 days after my date of arrival?

Probably a stupid question, but I couldn't find the definitive answer and don't want to make mistakes and hold things up!

Thanks in advance

Yup! This is how I completed mine...using the sample form. Never had a problem with it and I already got my GC ...So I assume it's right :)

Removal of conditions...

Thanks for the replies; I really should have just worked out that the dates on the example forms were 90 days apart!

 Sorry and thanks for not being patronising, I'm just anxious to get it all right!

Thanks again!
