NVC will forward all originals to the Consulate. However, it is highly recommended to take the copies of all originals and keep with beneficiary at the time of interview.

lol, thanks a lot hyd617 :P

I guess our lawyer is going to be our choice of agent but I am not sure. I have been reading other posts and there they were saying how their lawyer got the NOA-1 and then the lawyer forwarded them that receipt, but with us, its my husband (the USC) who got the NOA-1.

Silent, if you are getting this done by your lawyer, you are right. Lawyer will be the choice of agent by default. Only NOA-1 hard mail is received by USC(and by the lawyer as well) all the other correspondence from NVC will be only to your lawyer. Hope this helps.

Excellent job I printed it and put it on my wall, next thing I need is an approval, Lotto You cant work magic? can you? :)

Hehehe :star::star::star: Sarah's floodgate might click and approvals will come like flood soon :rofl::rofl: A little delay in USCIS will compensate at NVC

I wonder if Sarah is away opening those Floodgates? I guess we'll find out by approvals thurs/fri!

I need it so bad, my gf is really sad and depressed :(((

Sorry guys that I've not been on much for the last few days, just been a little down about this waiting for NOA2.

I'm praying for those floodgates to open soon as I'm feeling quite crappy about not being able to help Kip's Aunt while she's going through terminal pancreas cancer :clock:

I pray I don't miss yet another family funeral because of this process.

But, I guess if I do, it was meant to be.

Loto, your posting of this new process is brilliant! You are such a star :star::star:

And yes, you should run USCIS .... I would back you all the way!!!!

Ilya, you should try Loto's suggestion for the Congressman, as to see any of our group get through would be fabulous!!

And 'up yours' to all who may think it's a corrupt way of doing things :hehe::hehe:

Hang in there Sarah.

Try thinking of what you tell others: this sucks but you're almost on to NVC (where Loto, I totally agree, is doing a brilliant job plotting out the course ahead, so as to lose as little time as possible. YOU GO LOTO!!)

I really do think that you'll hear something soon.

Big hug, (F)

This fastest NVC process I posted because whoever suffered or is suffering due to huge delay in USCIS, should not waste a single day in NVC. Since online payment system is relatively new, most of the folks even do not know how to make use of it. So, this would be really helpful for them and they would definitely cut short NVC process by at least 2 months.

Hopefully they will.

I emailed the guy who looks after the website and the Ewok guy too about pinning the military safety protocol at the top of all the forums for the new military spouses and fiances about what to say and what 'not' to say to keep our military folk safe and they never got back to me.

I sent them the thread to pin and everything, twice.

This NVC stuff is important, I hope they will pin it.

Welcome to any changes suggested !!!

Those who go to Indian U.S consulate, check out new currency conversion rate. It was Rs.42 per USD when Rs. was around 40. Now Rs. is touching 42, so, consulate can hike the exchange rate at any time, stay tuned :star::star::star:

This is an AWESOME thread and a great plan -- it all makes sense to pay stuff online and use the online-generated barcodes/forms .. that will definitely save time ..

BUT ... I don't know if we can collect all necessary documents from the beneficiary BEFORE the NVC process because my wife was told in Delhi that she needed an interview letter (we were doing the K3 visa and still waiting on 129F - just got 130 approved a week ago) to get her medical and her police background check done ...

How can I get these done in advance as listed in the flowchart??????

NEETU IS HERE!

I-751 Process -

5/24/10 : I-751 Packet sent to VSC

5/26/10 : Delivered to SAINT ALBANS VT 05479 @ 11:46am

5/27/10 : NOA1 Date (based on scanned check image)

5/28/10 : Funds withdrawn from bank account

6/04/10 : NOA1 (I-797) received, confirming above NOA1 receipt date.

7/31/10 : Biometrics letter received - Appointment date of 8/11/10!

8/29/10 : GC received (sometime last week lol)! (WOW!)

Previous timeline of our Busy 2008!!

Medical, of course, need visa interview appointment letter. And that's outside NVC process.

For Police Certificate, you may try with the copy of I-130 approval notice and write a request letter for the same stating "now NVC procedure is changed and it has to be submitted to NVC, not Consulate".

Hope this helps out!
