VSC Processing Times?

It's been a while since I've been here and since I've needed to be.... The I-130 seems like a lifetime ago!

Given that I haven't needed to keep up with what's going on, is there a reason that the VSC are still only processing March 2007 dates? Is it likely to speed up at all?

I'm a Dec 07 date and with the rate they're working right now, I'll be lucky to get my conditions lifted for over a year! What happens if it doesn't get processed by the time the current extension runs out? I had my Biometrics appt in the middle of February, my case was "touched" on the 20th of February but nothing since then.

I'm sure these questions have been answered somewhere before but I couldn't find them in the FAQ or when I searched.

Thanks!

I recommend you taking a look at this tracking thread to give you an idea of what is going on at VSC.

Sounds like it's been fun then! Generally though, this should be a straightforward process though, right? Nothing can be as stressful as the I-130 stuff - surely......
