Hi All.

My husband and I are brand new to this and looking at the site the uscis has to offer as far as processing times for VSC got me even more confused, since it states that theyre now processing petitions from July 2007  , but still yet Ive read on these boards that some of you guys were blessed to get you NOA2 all though you didnt file in July but several months later which is so wonderful :dancing:. and congratulations :)!!

Its been such a great help to read thru this board of topics -it already helped us understanding a great deal of the process to be able to live with the one we love (( Fast processing time should be on the list of humanrights and if I may say so, it is absolutely inhuman to expect anyone to live apart from their spouse for such a long periode of time, while waiting for the case to be processed  ))..

I´d really appreciate if someone will be able to answer my question. By now I have given up on trying to calculate how long our March petition will take, and the July part on the USCIS processing webpage makes me a little sick :innocent:

Blessings,

Ya

As it has now been confirmed that VSC processes your file by NOA1 date (not filing date), you're one of the lucky ones .... you received your NOA1 quite quickly after filing.

VSC are currently finishing off December NOA1's, are about 25% through January NOA1's and have just started February NOA1's.

Technically you need to be watching those with the February NOA1's very closely as it should give you some rough estimation as to how far you are along the line.

When those approved with February NOA1's start getting more frequent, you'll know that yours shouldn't be too far behind.

I really appreciate your reply  and will stay optimistic .

Honestly I was quite surprised that we received the NOA1 as quick as we did, but I wasnt sure if that meant anything  .

Thank you so much

No worries .... you need to stay optimistic as you won't have as much time to wait as most people luckily.

Your NOA1 date is more important than a lot of people realised .... please ignore the filing date.

And I would suggest you join our little thread

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=125121

A lot of VSC filers are now communicating on this thread and saying when they're getting touches etc ... we're definately seeing movement, albeit slow at the moment. It will help you keep stock of the situation.

Goodluck x
