Waiting for K1 VISA

Hello all,

I have a question for anyone that might be able to provide insight. My fiancee had her interview at the embassy on April 23, but had to submit additional paperwork on April 29th. She was told to wait a week, and we assumed the visa would arrive via Delbros after the week. But here we are, april 6th, and the visa has not yet arrived. In fact, she even contacted Delbros, and according to them, they still haven't received the visa from the embassy. Since she lives in the province of Laguna, it is supposed to take a week to be delivered by delbros. Therein lies our problem. She has a scheduled flight leaving from the PI to the USA in just 9 days. I can change the flight easily because of my elite flying status, but I'd prefer not to. Does anyone have any idea of how long it typically takes to get the visa after the visa interview? Do we still have a chance on the May 15th date? Thanks...

Jeff

Try to call USEM (look for Grace or Lorraine) and inquire the status of your visa delivery. They might give you an answer.

Thank Riza. We will call. I noticed you have similar dates to us. Have you received your visa yet, by chance?
