I am curious about the questions that are asked. What do you feel is the most bizarre, or strange one's that you loved one was asked?

This would be a great thread for all us VN newbies, if everyone who has been through the interview would participate as best they could. I know PeterFB has said that there are questions listed in Reviews: Embassy/USCIS link at the top of the site, but I wasn't able to find many reviews or many specific questions.

If everyone could post here any questions they remember or the list of questions asked at the interview, that would be great! Thanks

I have attached a list of interview questions that I found.

Best of luck,

Jeff

Jeff, thanks for the attached list of questions. I've also been researching all interview questions for my SO to prepare. It would be a really great idea to pool together all questions and release it publicly to VJ community. I would nominate the locked VN thread above to gather all questions for the final version. That way year(s) from now when most of us become inactive, future VN VJ members can still have an easy access with an official locked thread instead of searching for a buried threads.

My wife wasn't really asked any bizzarre questions. A bunch of obvious stuff really. Then they asked to see evidence of my income and of our relationship. We showed them lots and lots of pictures and letters we used to write eachother during the 18 months we went through that ordeal. They actually did pull a couple letters out and read them.

The interview was ultimately a success although she did initially get the blue. But that was over a discrepency on her name which was cleared in about a month. A month seemed like such a long time back then, but now they just fly by. My wife's interview was 3 years ago so maybe the questions are different now. I don't know but I'm glad to be done with that.

The only strange thing was that they asked for my ex wife's address.

I am curious about the questions that are asked. What do you feel is the most bizarre, or strange one's that you loved one was asked?

During our second interview, my fiancée was asked; what was the year of our engagement?

This can be answered in two ways (trick question) ONE, (USA) the year I purposed, TWO (Vietnamese) the year we had our engagement party. She was blue sheeted for giving the wrong answer. I was furious! It took about 2 months to resolve this simple mistake and get the K-129 visa.

 That's a good idea only I would suggest making a Wiki page of questions. That way it could be easily edited by all of us now and in the future. I did a search on VJ's Wiki and found that there isn't a page of interview questions there. I've started a Vietnam K1 Visa page there for anyone to use for referrence. I add to it as I as have time.
