How will we know that we are approved?

Hi Vjer's good morning.nothing to do right now just curious so lemme throw this question to all of you. How will we know that we are approved after the interview since the consul who interviewed us didn't say anything? like congratulations or welcome to usa. All I know is that they let me paid the delbros and the document verification and he checked my white paper saying wait until you hear from us with a pink slip.what does that mean?

the other applicant whom I able to be acquainted with during the medical exam texted me yesterday that the embassy didn't let her pay delbros and documents verification but she was being asked to pay delbros back in her home town cebu. and I ask her why in cebu since we can pay delbros inside the embassy? a day after she go back home and two weeks later the embassy send her a letter through regular mail saying they cannot issue her a visa for they think she only applied it for immigration purposes and didn't believe on their relationship. together with the letter is her passport with no visa stamp.

Since they gave you the 221g [white paper] it means you are not approved yet and you are on AR. Administrative Review. May take from a couple weeks to months.

Looks like the other applicant was outright denied.

Oh I see so that's what AR means. Is that the document verification that we paid? My fiance called up Manila USEM last last week and they said that it took us 6 weeks to wait on our application and we are on our 4th weeks of waiting now. I hope when my fiance call back again at the MNL USEM hope we could hear good news from them.
