Change interview date?

Hello all

I was wondering...is it possible to change your interview date to an earlier one? I have been assigned an interview on June 5th, but I would like to get it done with sooner. Is this possible? Who do I call if it is?

I'm still waiting for the official letter, as I called the NVC who informed me that a date had been assigned, and they will be sending a letter out shortly.

I'd call or email the embassy. I think you need a compelling reason to get an earlier interview but give it a try.

Our visa is K-3 (not sure if it matters or not) and we are going through Mumbai consulate (our interview date is 6th June). We called as well as emailed the consulate to get an earlier date, but to no avail. The lady on the phone simply said that it was not possible to get an earlier date, and that the date can only be postponed. Still, no harm in trying I guess...
