Timeline

Hi everyone, am new to this forum; have spent the last couple months reading many of your posts and the guides and have learned alot. We will be filing our I-130 soon.

I have two questions I hope you all can help me with:

1. Is it true that all CR-1 visa interviews for Canada are only held in Montreal?

2. I am the USC, he is a Canadian citizen. He holds a British passport though (he is originally from S Africa more than 10 yrs ago). Should he get a Canadian passport for this process - will the interview in Canada want him to have Canadian passport to issue the visa? Or does it matter?
