Hello all,

Our case is is the last phase at NVC. I have sent out the DS-230 and AOS paperwork. My question was what is the timeline of interview gettign scheduled for her once they approce ?

I am planning on going there to travel back together last week of Jue or first week ofJuly? Is that wishful thinking! Do you all think she will have visa in hand in 2 months?

Take care! & THX

Most likely you may assigned an interview date mid of May (15-25). if so, you could have your interview in July approximately.

Anyways, I would wait until your case is completed and interview scheduled before making any travel plans.

please update your timeline....cheers

Thanks all..............this does not bode well for me perosnally! Our (Court) wedding aniverysary and wife's birthday are end of June so if it gets pushed out to July, I am certainly in the DOG house for a long time and our lives will not stat off on a positive note!

Another question to you all - We had the court marriage and an Arya Samaj wedding last summer and had the bigger cermonial wedding later in fall (where guests could actually attend). Do we need to disclose that in the upcoming interview? Everything has been done by the book so I have no worries but wondering if that can become an issue about a ceremonial wedding taking place a bit later after the court marriage which was the basis the case was filed on. Any feedback!

This whole journey has been so depressing! Thanks for your feedback and Regardsl; I may pick your brains once the interview about the "interview process'

Once again, THX!

hi,

One thing i have realised is that..... when the question is asked when were you married... mention the date which you mentioned whiile filling out the papers...... if they ask more about why did you have bigger ceremony later then mention the reasons for it...!!! .. Dont open your mouth much unless asked to do so .... And as of the interview date.. just look at my timeline below and you can calculate how many days does it take to get interview.. once case is completed at the NVC
